Saturday Kids Club Descriptions:
Minecraft Masters
Creativity, problem solving skills and digital citizenship are just a few of the things our Minecraft builders will learn as we guide our explorers through Minecraft challenges that teach new concepts each week.
Interactive Engineering
Using the Engineering Design Process to encourage our students’ ability to discover, our STEM-loving Instructors guide our young engineers to discover why and how things happen. A different project each week!
Digital 3D Art & Music Creation
Explore digital Art and Music with our talented Instructors. Play virtual instruments to compose original music, learn multitrack recording and audio engineering with GarageBand. Develop visual-spatial skills using Tinkercad to design, slice, and print in 3D! Watch your art creations come to life on our 3D Printers.
Holiday Magic
Make your own snow, peppermint slime, dissolving candy canes and a whole lot more holiday themed STEM activities to get us in the holiday spirit.
Junior Scientists
Our young Einstein’s develop reasoning skills and perceptions of the natural world as we cultivate a sense of curiosity and wonderment. Each week our Instructors lead our scientists through different experiments using the Scientific Method to foster critical thinking skills.
Coding & Technology
Using age-appropriate coding programs like Scratch and Blockly, our team of Instructors guide our future innovators to help develop their logical reasoning, problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Our students will gain more confidence as they learn about sequences, motion, loops, and if statements while creating animations in Scratch and programming DashBots with Blockly.
