WESTPORT — Zaniac, a Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) education enrichment franchise, this week celebrated the grand opening of its new Westport location at 1391 Post Road East with a ceremony attended by state and town officials.
Zaniac, designed for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade, is designed from the ground up to prioritize fun, to actively engage and integrate a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, according to a press release from the company. Zaniac, the release states, helps to prepare children for 21st Century jobs with programs such as Zaniac Robotics: LEGO, Game-Based Learning: Minecraft, 3D Printing, App Creation and Computer Programming.
"We are very excited to be opening our new Zaniac campus in Westport, which builds on the success we've experienced in Greenwich over the past two years,” said Zaniac Westport co-founder Camilla Gazal. “A number of K-8 students who attend our Greenwich campus live in the Westport area. We are delighted to now bring the Zaniac learning experience to the Westport area.”
