This week many of the world's leading entrepreneurs, academics, and education professionals gathered at the University of Pennsylvania to discuss the future of education and fund aspiring entrepreneurs. Since 2010, the annual Milkin-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition and Conference has attracted many of the world's leading teachers, investors, entrepreneurs, and researchers seeking to use technology to improve education.
Professor Paul Zane Pilzer delivered the Keynote Presentation entitled: "Where the Uber of Education Technology" at the 2016 Milkin-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition and Conference.
Pilzer, who is the founder of six companies in education and health benefits, began his journey as an entrepreneur in 1975 at the University of Pennsylvania as a 20 year old Wharton MBA. He wrote on the cover of his thesis: "One day this technology will be used to affordably bring the best teacher of every subject to every student."
