Summer Satellite Camps

Satellite Camps will be available at Hite Elementary School, 12408 Old Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, $279 per week.

2 weeks available, June 8th - June 12 and July 13th - July 17th. Snacks provided, campers will need to bring their own lunch.

They will be Indoor/Outdoor camps focussing on STEAM-related activities. For the indoor portion in the morning, we will be doing Game Design: Code, Play & Learn (Create a new game every camp and program classic arcade games (like Pac-man) and more. Learn advanced concepts, such as broadcasting, variables, and adaptability while working on collaborative learning skills.) and Mechatronics (Campers learn the basics of robotics, the scientific method, forces, and design through exploring scientific and engineering concepts. Build and program robotic solutions to defined projects. In circuits, campers use littleBits and Snap circuits to learn about basic inputs, outputs, analogs, electricity, and more!).

The outdoor portion in the afternoon will be activities such as science experiments, exploring chemistry and physics.
