Beginners Robotics

Technology and math skills come to life as we teach kids the basics of Robotics using lots of hands-on activities. We will spark curiosity with our friends Ozobot and DashBot! For grades K-2.

Robotics: LEGO® Simple Machines

Simple Machines is perfect for younger learners who are just getting started with LEGO. Students get an introduction to levers, inclined planes, pulleys, screws, and complete challenges through building motorized mechanisms in teams. For grades K-5.

Advanced Robotics

Work with our robotics experts to build more complex robot systems using our LEGO EV3 Robotics System! Learn about sensors and motors, the scientific method, forces, and design through exploring scientific and engineering concepts. For grades 3-8.

Engineering Takes Flight - Drones!*

Watch your STEAM Skills Take Off!

The intersection of engineering and computer science takes flight with Drones! We invite students of all skill levels to learn about drones with Zaniac! In Zaniac’s Drones program, students will use creativity and critical-thinking skills to successfully engineer the design and code behind two drone models. Students will understand nature’s influence on the technology and the design of drones. Explore physics and geometry to understand how the anatomy of a drone supports its course of flight and how to program their drone with block programming commands to pilot their drone's flight path. By combining these concepts, students will complete a variety of hands-on challenges and understand the real-world applications of drone technology. For grades 3-8.

Little Engineers Circuits

Think, build and create! Explore mechanical and electrical engineering through hands-on exploration and innovation! Technology is a powerful way to teach kids engineering skills with littleBits circuits, LEGO EV3 robots, drones and more! For grades K-2.

Intro to Circuits

Intro to Circuits uses littleBits™, a system of modules that magnetically snap together to build projects ranging from flashlights to synthesizers. Learn about basic inputs, outputs, analogs, electricity, and more! For grades K-5.

Intro to Microcontrollers*

Intro to Microcontrollers uses open source hardware that makes electronics accessible to all. Learn programming logic through hands-on hardware projects, work with sensors to explore the science of light and sound, and build creatively with real circuit boards to create projects like color-mixing lamps. For grades 3-8.

*Intro to Circuits and Computer Programming: Intro to Scratch are prerequisites for this course.
