Mathematician Camp
Zane Math

Enjoy our fun-filled approach to Math where campers can even draw on our walls! Every Math Camper takes an individual Math Assessment so we can customize a math program for each child from our 14,000 math problems database. We make math so fun and easy to understand that kids can’t wait to come back.

Engineer Camps
Beginner Robotics

Technology and math skills come to life as we teach kids the basics of Robotics using lots of hands-on activities. We will spark curiosity with our friends Ozobot and DashBot!

Advanced Robotics

Work with our robotics experts to build more complex robot systems using our LEGO EV3 Robotics System! Learn about sensors and motors, the scientific method, forces, and design through exploring scientific and engineering concepts.

Drone Flight Exploration

Watch your engineering and coding skills take flight with Drones! Campers use creativity and critical-thinking skills to successfully engineer the design and code behind two drone models. Explore physics and geometry to understand how the anatomy of a drone supports its course of flight and how to program their drone with block programming commands to pilot their drone's flight path. Complete a variety of hands-on challenges and understand the real-world applications of drone technology.

Electronics Lab

Get charged up! Campers will be introduced to the basic properties of electricity and electronics through hands-on projects. Learn the fundamentals behind circuitry and how circuits are used in the technological devices we use today. Kids will be able to create circuits to shine a light bulb, spin a motor and produce sounds as they solve problems and learn about the Engineering Design Process.

Mechanical Engineering

Think, build, create! Our engineering camp explores mechanical engineering through hands-on exploration and innovation. You will get an introduction to levers, inclined planes, pulleys, screws, and complete challenges through building motorized mechanisms in teams.

NEW! Computer Science Lab

This is an introduction to coding and computer science by way of making and design, using the new micro:bit microcontroller board, and Microsoft’s easy and powerful MakeCode block-based coding environment. It is a project-based curriculum with a maker philosophy at its core; the idea is that by making physical objects, students create a context for learning the coding and computer science concepts and using interesting problems that students want to solve!

NEW! Mechatronics

Students learn the basics of robotics, the scientific method, forces, and design through exploring scientific and engineering concepts. Build and program robotic solutions to defined projects. In circuits, students use littleBits and Snap circuits to learn about basic inputs, outputs, analogs, electricity, and more!

Explorer Camps
STEAM Quest: Superheroes

Compose in our Music Lab. Tinker with Circuits. Make Superhero gadgets in Robotics. Design costumes with Inkscape. Make Masks with Paper Circuits. Design in 3D and print logos and symbols.

STEAM Quest: Maker Space

Do you like to create, build, tinker, invent, learn and share? Campers will be exposed to highly engaging hands-on learning and problem solving through a great range of tools, machines, technology, possibilities, and instructor encouragement. They will gain familiarity with maker concepts such as programming, robotics, engineering, multimedia, and design.

NEW! STEAM Quest: Space Engineers

Explore a whole new universe and be astronauts in 2020. Learn about aerospace engineering and orbital mechanics by completing a series of missions. Let’s use Kerbal Space and Drones to understand flying technologies. Campers will explore space gloves, rockets & rovers as well as remote sensing devices in a series of engineering projects.

Games Based Learning: Minecraft Explorer

Game-Based Learning using Minecraft™ capitalizes on the love you already have for the game as we explore math (like Cartesian coordinates) to navigate while working together with friends to accomplish group missions. Explore real science and engineering concepts like biomes and gravity playing a game you love.

Games Based Learning: Minecraft Galaxy

Game-Based Learning using Minecraft™ capitalizes on the love you already have for the game as we explore the galaxy! Learn about Earth's oceans and undersea life with the Oceancraft mod, and explore space with the Galacticraft mod. Design and build rockets that travel to the moon, International Space Station, and even Mars. The final camp culminates with a team-building space rescue!

Games Based Learning: Minecraft Redstone Lab

Enter the electrifying Redstone Lab, the circuit equivalent in Minecraft that allows students to use electrical engineering concepts to create complex machines such as a clock or a calculator. Learn about inputs, outputs, logic gates. Use critical-thinking skills to solve electrical challenges throughout the laboratory.

Games Based Learning: Minecraft Engineering & Design

Campers explore the inner workings of manufacturing and heavy industry, ranging from baseline resource gathering to advanced metal production. With the simplified tools provided by Minecraft, students set up working facilities to create products from raw materials, and set up a logistics network that can efficiently move items to where they are needed.

Use a realistic aerospace simulator to learn about aerospace engineering, orbital mechanics, aerodynamics, and space exploration concepts, igniting a lifelong interest in science and space!

Chess Camp helps your child develop strategic thinking skills critical to success. Chess helps develop higher order thinking skills, enhances creativity, and improves memory—while giving your child a leg up at school.

Coder Camps
Scratch Coder

Intro to Scratch teaches programming concepts such as sequences, loops, iterative development, and debugging using a modern, block-based approach. Students create animations and videos to share with friends and family.

Game Design with Scratch

Create a new game every camp and program classic arcade games (like Pac-man) and more. Learn advanced concepts, such as broadcasting, variables, and adaptability while working on collaborative learning skills.

NEW! Python Coder

Students will learn about turtles—little arrows students use to program. Students will use turtles to learn loops, methods to make drawing numbers/shapes easier, and conditionals which change the way the turtle will move based on what they tell it to do. These techniques will help students learn how python works, and how to program, while keeping it fun.

Java Coder

Learn the basic syntax of Java, an enterprise-level programming language, by controlling the robot Karel! Create and navigate different types of worlds, and have Karel draw shapes and letters!

3D Printing & Design

Get immersed in the engineering and design process through working with cutting edge software and technology. Take your exciting ideas and turn them into reality with 3D prints!

Advanced 3D Printing & Design

Learn advanced, professional level 3D modeling and CAD techniques! With an emphasis on functional design and robust modeling, students will learn the specifics of how 3D Print & Design is used today. Learn about the software used in college design and architecture classes, slicer software and how to alter your own print settings.

Fashion Design

Design one-of-a-kind looks using digital modeling and create custom, wearable accessories through 3D printing. Explore color theory and use the open-source vector graphics software Inkscape. Assemble your own custom garment designs by assembling mood boards, drawing vectors, arranging nodes, and layering color palettes. Something for every taste—from dresses to sports gear!

Today’s engineers use a process called the Engineering Design Process. During this fun-filled week, we will learn how engineers use this process. Use this process to design and create furniture, vehicles, towers, houses, bridges and many more items that we will need in the future. Solve problems independently and collaboratively and use science and math skills to solve real-world challenges.

Scientists Camps
Earth Science

Understand water cycles and the impact of the weather. Surviving the fury of mother nature can be a challenge. Learn what a meteorologist looks at to determine our weather. Explore our twisting, shaking, moving Earth as we understand the power tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes. Can you construct a home that will withstand the fury of mother nature? Let’s take a scientific look at our changing climate.

Space Science

Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut? Join us as we explore space through the eyes of an astronaut. Let’s learn more about the planets, moons, stars and space technology. Journey with us as we travel through our solar system and participate in real astronaut-training activities, including living in space. Discover the technologies that space scientists and astronauts use, including lunar rovers and robotic arms. Using what you have learned in this camp, will you be able to survive in space?
